Default Getting VIF in R Language

I was trying to look at the Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) of my predictors. Therefore I typed in
>vif(autoA)
Where autoA is a subset of the full data "auto" that contains the columns of predictors only.

However the R package responds
"Error: could not find function "vif""

I'm sure the code is correct, but how can I define this function?

Answer

You need to load the Car Package.
In R menu bar, click Packages/Load Package/Car
